St Barnabas, Grantham’s hospice, turns 30 this year and we are teaming up with them to help celebrate, raise money and raise awareness of their great work.

On 10th May the folk from St Barnabas will be joining us to help with a brew specially created for their birthday. We are brewing a pale straw coloured, lager style beer using four different hops (featuring the fruity, Polish Marynka hop).

Every pint sold will see 10p going to this great charity, and every bottle 20p. We’ll also be asking the pubs who take the beer locally to put collection boxes on the bar. Look out for the beer in regular Oldershaw pubs and hopefully local co-ops will be stocking it in bottles.

The hospice movement’s work to help people die with dignity is hugely important and we are proud to link up with St Barnys to celebrate the contribution they have made to our community.

Cheers guys!
